Bajaj Finserv is listed to report its September-quarter numbers on 3 November 2026. Here are the date check, the profit base and the two profit lines that must not be mixed, the lending and insurance marks, and the lines to read first.

Updated: Sunday, 1 November 2026, 9:45 AM IST  |  Reading time: 19 min  |  Next update: Tuesday, 3 November 2026, after the exchange filing

Quick answer

Bajaj Finserv Q2 results are listed for Tuesday, 3 November 2026 in one weekly list. The base to beat is Rs 2,244 crore profit (the owners’ share, my inference) on Rs 37,403 crore total income in Q2 FY26. Q1 FY27 owners’ profit was Rs 3,132 crore and total profit Rs 6,297 crore.

Latest update (Sunday, 1 November 2026, 9:45 AM IST): The results are not out. Kotak Neo’s weekly list shows Bajaj Finserv for Tuesday, 3 November; the date rests on that one report and the filing time is not announced. This page becomes the live analysis after the filing.

Earlier entries:

  • Friday, 30 October 2026, 6:00 PM IST: Kotak Neo listed Bajaj Finserv among Tuesday’s results.
  • Thursday, 30 July 2026 (my inference from a 31 July article): Q1 FY27 results were announced.

Key takeaways

  • Date: Tuesday, 3 November 2026 from one weekly list; confirm on the exchange page.
  • Base to beat: Q2 FY26 profit Rs 2,244 crore (+8%), total income Rs 37,403 crore (+11%).
  • Latest quarter: Q1 FY27 total profit Rs 6,297 crore, owners’ Rs 3,132 crore, income Rs 42,037 crore.
  • Drivers: Bajaj Finance profit up 28% in Q1; Bajaj Life value of new business up 87%.
  • Trap: total profit and owners’ profit differ by about half. Match the pair.

In plain words: Bajaj Finserv is a holding company. It owns lending (Bajaj Finance) and insurance businesses, so its results add them up. Before the numbers arrive, a preview tells you which of last year’s figures to hold them against and which profit line to use.

Data note: Figures are as of Sunday, 1 November 2026, 9:45 AM IST. The results date comes from one weekly list; the filing itself was not opened for this page. Base figures are company results as reported by Business Standard, Free Press Journal and Investywise. Where sources do not say which profit line they use, I say so. Derived numbers are my calculation.

When are the Bajaj Finserv Q2 results?

The Bajaj Finserv Q2 results date is listed as Tuesday, 3 November 2026. The date rests on one weekly list, so confirm it on the exchange page.

Kotak Neo’s weekly list, posted at 6:00 PM IST on 30 October 2026, names Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Holdings & Investment among Tuesday’s results, and says dates are based on announced board-meeting schedules and may change. I found no second report that quotes the intimation, so treat the date as likely but unconfirmed.

Last year Bajaj Finserv reported its Q2 FY26 numbers on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, in the evening, so 3 November would be earlier than last year. The filing time is not announced. Do not trust a screenshot that claims a time before the exchange page shows it.

What will Bajaj Finserv publish?

Bajaj Finserv will publish unaudited consolidated and standalone results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2026, with a press release. The press release carries the subsidiary numbers that the headline leaves out: Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Housing Finance, Bajaj General and Bajaj Life.

Treat any article that gives another date as unreliable until you see the filing. Bajaj Finance, the largest subsidiary, has its own board meeting, so its figures may appear on a different day.

What is the base to beat for the Bajaj Finserv Q2 results?

The base to beat is Q2 FY26 profit of Rs 2,244 crore on total income of Rs 37,403 crore, against Rs 3,132 crore of owners’ profit on Rs 42,037 crore in Q1 FY27.

Bajaj Finserv total income Q2 FY27: the flat-quarter sum

Here is the first useful sum. Q1 FY27 total income of Rs 42,037 crore is already +12.4% above Q2 FY26’s Rs 37,403 crore (42,037 divided by 37,403, my calculation), and Q1 owners’ profit of Rs 3,132 crore is +39.6% above Q2 FY26’s Rs 2,244 crore. A flat Q2 would therefore show strong growth on both lines.

How was the Q2 FY26 base built?

Business Standard reported total income up 11% to Rs 37,403 crore, with interest income at Rs 19,599 crore, premium and other operating income at Rs 15,936 crore, and fees and commission at Rs 1,552 crore. Impairment on lending rose to Rs 2,269 crore from Rs 1,909 crore, about 19% (my calculation). The shares closed 6.26% lower on the results day, a reaction and not a verdict on the quarter.

Why the Rs 2,244 crore label matters

Sources call Rs 2,244 crore “consolidated net profit” without saying which line it is. Bajaj Finance alone reported about Rs 4,876 crore of profit that quarter, so the group’s total profit cannot be as small as Rs 2,244 crore. That points to the owners’ share (my inference). On that reading, Q1 FY27 owners’ profit of Rs 3,132 crore is the matching line, and Q1 FY26 owners’ profit was about Rs 2,796 crore (3,132 divided by 1.12, my calculation).

Bajaj Finserv Q2 results preview: what to expect

No consensus estimate was found, so the preview rests on the base figures and on the direction of the subsidiaries in Q1 FY27.

Item What was reported Source and date Note
Bajaj Finance profit Up 28% to Rs 6,081 crore in Q1 FY27 Free Press Journal, 31 Jul 2026 Largest profit driver
Bajaj Housing Finance Profit up 23% to Rs 715 crore Same Subsidiary of Bajaj Finance
Bajaj General GWP up 11% to Rs 5,789 crore; profit Rs 478 crore Free Press Journal; Investywise Q2 FY26 profit was Rs 517 crore
Bajaj Life Value of new business up 87% to Rs 271 crore Same Q2 FY26 VNB was Rs 367 crore
Consensus profit estimate None found Not applicable Do not read growth rates as a forecast

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Bajaj Finserv Q2 FY27 Subsidiary Marks, as of 1 November 2026”.

Two details stand out. Bajaj General’s Q1 profit of Rs 478 crore is below the Rs 517 crore of Q2 FY26, so insurance profit would need to rise for the owners’ line to grow fast. And Bajaj Life’s Q1 value of new business of Rs 271 crore is below the Rs 367 crore it posted in Q2 FY26, so the insurer faces a tougher base in Q2 than in Q1.

Bajaj Finserv net profit Q2 FY27: what to expect

Bajaj Finance’s profit alone of Rs 6,081 crore in Q1 FY27 compares with Rs 4,876 crore in Q2 FY26, which is +24.7% (my calculation). Bajaj Finance reported consolidated profit of Rs 4,948 crore in one source, so the base depends on the line used; check it before you compare.

How did the shares react to Q1?

Angel One reported that Bajaj Finserv shares gained over 5% after the Q1 FY27 results, while they fell over 6% after the Q2 FY26 results. Those are reactions to what the market expected, not forecasts of Q2 FY27, and they say nothing about what the filing will show.

Bajaj Finserv profit Q2 FY27: scenarios

These are arithmetic scenarios, not forecasts. A flat Q1 owners’ profit would be +39.6% on Q2 FY26.

Assumptions: consolidated; Q2 FY26 total income Rs 37,403 crore and profit Rs 2,244 crore (read as the owners’ line); profit growth of 8%, 12%, 18% and 30% is my illustration around last year’s +8% and this year’s Q1 pace of +12%; income at +15% is a mid-point between last year’s +11% and Q1’s +19%.

Owners’ profit growth on Q2 FY26 Owners’ profit Against Q1 FY27 (Rs 3,132 crore) Share of income if income is +15% (Rs 43,013 crore)
+8% Rs 2,424 crore -23% 5.6%
+12% Rs 2,513 crore -20% 5.8%
+18% Rs 2,648 crore -15% 6.2%
+30% Rs 2,917 crore -7% 6.8%

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Bajaj Finserv Q2 FY27 Profit Scenarios, as of 1 November 2026”.

Three worked examples

  • Repeat of last year’s pace: profit +8% is Rs 2,424 crore, well below Q1 FY27’s Rs 3,132 crore.
  • Q1 pace of +12%: Rs 2,513 crore (2,244 times 1.12, my calculation).
  • Flat on Q1 FY27: Rs 3,132 crore, which is +39.6% on Rs 2,244 crore.

The scenarios hold other lines constant. In practice the minority share, insurance reserves, tax and one-off gains sit between income and owners’ profit, and the split of profit between owners and minorities can shift from quarter to quarter.

Which Bajaj Finserv profit figure should you compare?

Compare owners’ profit with owners’ profit and total with total. Mixing them changes the growth rate by a wide margin.

Figure Q2 FY26 Q1 FY27 The trap
Net profit as reported, Rs crore 2,244 (+8%) Not applicable Label does not say total or owners’
Total profit after tax, Rs crore Not in sources 6,297 (+18%) Includes the minority share
Owners’ profit, Rs crore 2,244 on my inference 3,132 (+12%) The matching line for Q2 FY26
Minority share, Rs crore Not in sources About 3,165 (6,297 less 3,132) Larger than the owners’ line
Owners’ share of total profit Not in sources About 49.7% (my calculation) Roughly half
Bajaj Finance PAT, Rs crore 4,876 or 4,948 6,081 (+28%) Standalone versus consolidated

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Bajaj Finserv Definition-Trap Table, as of 1 November 2026”.

Suppose a headline says profit is up +181%. That compares Rs 6,297 crore total profit for Q1 FY27 with Rs 2,244 crore (6,297 divided by 2,244, my calculation), which mixes lines. The matched comparison is +39.6%. The company’s own year-on-year figures, +18% total and +12% owners’, are the right pairs for Q1.

Why the owners’ share is about half

Bajaj Finserv holds a majority stake in Bajaj Finance and its insurers but not all of it, and the other shareholders are entitled to their part of the profit. In Q1 FY27 the minority share was about Rs 3,165 crore (my calculation), so the owners’ line is 49.7% of the total.

The estimate base trap

A growth rate applied to Rs 2,244 crore and to a different base gives two different profits. Check which line an estimate uses before you compare it with the table above.

What do the lending and insurance lines need to show?

Bajaj Finance profit of Rs 6,081 crore in Q1 FY27 is the bar for lending. For insurance, Bajaj General profit of Rs 478 crore and Bajaj Life value of new business of Rs 271 crore are the marks.

Bajaj Housing Finance PAT, Rs crore Not in sources 715 (+23%) Free Press Journal

Bajaj General profit, Rs crore 517 (+5%) 478 Investywise
Bajaj Life VNB, Rs crore 367 (+50%) 271 (+87%) Investywise
Impairment on lending, Rs crore 2,269 Not in sources Business Standard

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Bajaj Finserv Subsidiary Marks, as of 1 November 2026”.

The company also approved plans for a re-insurance business through a newly incorporated subsidiary, subject to IRDAI and other approvals, and the issue of about 15.1 lakh equity shares to its ESOP trust. Neither changes the quarter’s profit, but they may come up on the call.

Impairment is the line to watch for lending: it rose about 19% in Q2 FY26, roughly in line with interest income, so a faster rise would weigh on profit.

How to read the Bajaj Finserv filing on NSE or BSE

Open the exchange announcement, find the consolidated statement and compare each line with the base table above, same measure, same basis.

  1. Open the BSE corporate announcements page or the NSE corporate filings page and search for Bajaj Finserv.
  2. Choose the financial results announcement for the quarter ended 30 September 2026.
  3. Find the consolidated statement first, then the standalone.
  4. Check the unit and whether a column is for the quarter or six months.
  5. Read total income, total profit after tax and profit attributable to owners.
  6. Open the press release for the Bajaj Finance, housing, general and life lines.
  7. Check the notes for exceptional items.
  8. Compare every figure with the base table.

What it costs: reading a filing is free. If you trade the stock, brokerage, securities transaction tax and other charges apply, so check your broker’s current schedule. Tax angle: gains follow the current tax rules, so see our guide to capital gains tax on shares or ask a tax adviser. Scam warning: on results day, fake “result alert” groups and sure-shot tips circulate. Nobody can guarantee a gain, and official filings are free.

What are the risks around the Bajaj Finserv Q2 results?

Definition riskTotal profit and owners’ profit differ by about half, and mixing them misstates growth.
Date riskThe 3 November date rests on one partial weekly list and may change.
Label riskSources do not say which line Rs 2,244 crore is. My reading as the owners’ share is an inference.
Credit-cost riskImpairment on lending rose about 19% in Q2 FY26. A faster rise would weigh on profit.
Insurance base riskBajaj Life VNB of Rs 367 crore and Bajaj General profit of Rs 517 crore are tougher bases than Q1 marks.
No consensusNo profit estimate was found, so there is no market bar to compare with.
Subsidiary timingBajaj Finance reports on its own schedule, so figures can arrive on a different day.
Information riskSecondary articles disagree on some lines, and I did not open the filing.

How to grade Bajaj Finserv’s September-quarter numbers: a reading guide

Use the table as a reading aid, not a forecast. The cut-offs are my illustration, built from last year’s growth and the Q1 FY27 pace.

Assumptions: Q2 FY26 total income Rs 37,403 crore and owners’ profit Rs 2,244 crore; Bajaj Finance Q2 FY26 profit about Rs 4,876 crore.

Mark Stronger In line Weaker
Total income growth on Q2 FY26 Above 19% 11% to 19% Below 11%
Owners’ profit growth on Q2 FY26 Above 20% 8% to 20% Below 8%
Bajaj Finance profit growth Above 28% 22% to 28% Below 22%
Bajaj Life VNB Above Rs 367 crore Rs 271 to 367 crore Below Rs 271 crore
Bajaj General profit Above Rs 517 crore Rs 478 to 517 crore Below Rs 478 crore

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Bajaj Finserv Q2 FY27 Reading Guide, as of 1 November 2026”.

Worked example: suppose total income is Rs 43,000 crore, owners’ profit Rs 2,700 crore and Bajaj Finance profit Rs 6,000 crore. Income would be up +15.0% (43,000 divided by 37,403), owners’ profit up +20.3% on Rs 2,244 crore and Bajaj Finance up +23.1% on Rs 4,876 crore (my calculation). Income would read stronger, owners’ profit in line and Bajaj Finance in line to strong. Note that Rs 2,700 crore would be below Q1’s Rs 3,132 crore, so the sequential line would look weaker even though the year-on-year line is solid.

A strong reading describes the quarter only. It is not a signal to buy, sell or hold, and a weak one is not a signal either. Prices react to many things, including what the market already expected.

What do most people miss on Bajaj Finserv results day?

  • Headlines may quote total profit. It is roughly double the owners’ line.
  • The base label is unclear. Rs 2,244 crore is probably the owners’ share.
  • Growth rates differ by line. Total profit rose 18% and owners’ profit 12% in Q1.
  • Insurance bases are higher in Q2. VNB was Rs 367 crore last September.
  • Bajaj Finance sets the tone. Its profit is bigger than the group’s owners’ line.
  • The date is unconfirmed. Verify before you plan around it.

Analyst’s note: how to think about this quarter

  • What stands out (reasoning): a large minority share means owners’ profit grows more slowly than total profit, so the profit line used matters as much as the number.
  • Easy to miss: a sequential dip from Q1’s Rs 3,132 crore can sit beside strong year-on-year growth.
  • What would change the view: Bajaj Finance profit growth below 22%, or Bajaj Life VNB below Rs 271 crore.
  • Caution: one quarter does not fix a long-term value. This page gives no target or recommendation.
  • Reader action: read the same-basis figures first and match each to the base table.

Bottom line

Known: Bajaj Finserv is listed for 3 November 2026; the base is Rs 2,244 crore profit and Rs 37,403 crore income, and Q1 FY27 showed Rs 6,297 crore total and Rs 3,132 crore owners’ profit.

Bajaj Finserv Q2 results: frequently asked questions

When are the Bajaj Finserv Q2 results?

Bajaj Finserv is listed to report on Tuesday, 3 November 2026 in Kotak Neo’s weekly list posted on 30 October, which says dates follow announced board meetings and may change. That is a single, partial-list source, so confirm on the BSE or NSE page. The filing time is not announced.

What was Bajaj Finserv profit in Q2 FY26?

Business Standard reported consolidated net profit of Rs 2,244 crore, up 8% from Rs 2,087 crore, on total income of Rs 37,403 crore (up 11%). Because Bajaj Finance alone earned about Rs 4,876 crore, this line looks like the owners’ share (my inference), not total profit.

What did Bajaj Finserv report in Q1 FY27?

For the June 2026 quarter the company reported total consolidated profit of Rs 6,297 crore (up 18%), of which Rs 3,132 crore (up 12%) belongs to owners, on total income of Rs 42,037 crore (up 19%), as reported by Free Press Journal and Investywise.

Why are there two Bajaj Finserv profit figures?

The group owns most, not all, of Bajaj Finance and its insurers. Total profit includes the minority share, which was about Rs 3,165 crore in Q1 FY27 (my calculation). The owners’ line is the smaller one. Match like with like.

Which Bajaj Finserv profit should I compare with Q2 FY26?

Compare the owners’ line: Rs 3,132 crore in Q1 FY27 against Rs 2,244 crore in Q2 FY26, which is about +39.6% (my calculation). Comparing Rs 6,297 crore with Rs 2,244 crore would overstate growth by a wide margin.

How did Bajaj Finance do in Q1 FY27?

Bajaj Finance consolidated profit after tax rose 28% to Rs 6,081 crore, and Bajaj Housing Finance rose 23% to Rs 715 crore, as reported by Free Press Journal. Bajaj Finance reports its own results separately, so its numbers can appear before or around the parent’s.

How are the insurance businesses doing?

In Q1 FY27 Bajaj General’s gross written premium rose 11% to Rs 5,789 crore with profit of Rs 478 crore, and Bajaj Life’s value of new business rose 87% to Rs 271 crore. In Q2 FY26 Bajaj General profit was Rs 517 crore and Bajaj Life VNB was Rs 367 crore.

Do analysts have a Bajaj Finserv Q2 profit estimate?

No consensus estimate was found for this page. Treat any estimate you see as one house’s view and check which profit line it uses, owners’ or total, before comparing it with the table.

Where can I read the Bajaj Finserv filing?

Use the BSE corporate announcements page or the NSE corporate filings page and search for Bajaj Finserv. Open the financial results PDF and the press release. Ignore forwarded “result alert” images and any message promising sure-shot calls.

By when must Bajaj Finserv publish its Q2 results?

SEBI’s listing regulations give listed companies 45 days after quarter-end for quarterly results. For the quarter ended 30 September 2026 that is 14 November 2026 (my calculation). Last year the company reported on 11 November 2025, so 3 November would be earlier.
