Updated: Sunday, 1 November 2026, 11:15 AM IST  |  Reading time: 19 min  |  Next update: Saturday, 7 November 2026, after the exchange filing

Quick answer

Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results are listed for Saturday, 7 November 2026 in one weekly list. The base to beat is Rs 689 crore net profit (up 35%) on Rs 2,715 crore revenue from operations in Q2 FY26. Q1 FY27 profit jumped to Rs 902 crore, up 65.5%, so the base is strong and the bar is high.

Latest update (Sunday, 1 November 2026, 11:15 AM IST): The results are not out. Kotak Neo’s weekly list shows Divi’s Laboratories for Saturday, 7 November; the date rests on that one report and the filing time is not announced. This page becomes the live analysis after the filing.

Earlier entries:

  • Friday, 30 October 2026, 6:00 PM IST: Kotak Neo listed Divi’s Laboratories among Saturday’s results.
  • Saturday, 1 August 2026: Q1 FY27 results were announced, per Angel One.

Key takeaways

  • Date: Saturday, 7 November 2026 from one weekly list; confirm on the exchange page.
  • Base to beat: Q2 FY26 profit Rs 689 crore (+35%), revenue from operations Rs 2,715 crore (+16%).
  • Latest quarter: Q1 FY27 profit Rs 902 crore (+65.5%), total income Rs 3,144 crore (+24.3%).
  • Forex: Q2 FY26 had a Rs 63 crore gain; Q1 FY27 a Rs 7 crore loss.
  • Trap: margin and revenue are quoted on different bases. Match the pair.

In plain words: Before the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results arrive, remember that the company makes the active ingredients and intermediates that other drug companies use. Its profit depends on orders, product mix and the exchange rate, because much of its income is in dollars. A preview tells you which figures to hold the new numbers against.

Data note: Figures are as of Sunday, 1 November 2026, 11:15 AM IST. The results date comes from one weekly list; the filing itself was not opened for this page. Base figures are company results as reported by Business Today, Kotak Neo, Angel One and Sahi. Derived numbers are my calculation.

When are the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results?

The Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results date is listed as Saturday, 7 November 2026. The date rests on one weekly list, so confirm it on the exchange page.

Kotak Neo’s weekly list, posted at 6:00 PM IST on 30 October 2026, names Divi’s Laboratories among Saturday’s results, and says dates are based on announced board-meeting schedules and may change. I found no second report that quotes the intimation, so treat the date as likely but unconfirmed.

Last year the company reported its Q2 FY26 numbers on Friday, 7 November 2025, and Q1 FY27 came on a Saturday, 1 August 2026, per Angel One, so a weekend date fits its pattern. The filing time is not announced. Do not trust a screenshot that claims a time before the exchange page shows it.

What will Divi’s Laboratories publish?

Divi’s Laboratories will publish unaudited consolidated and standalone results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2026. It reports one segment, manufacturing active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and nutraceutical ingredients, so the filing has no segment table to read. The foreign-exchange line and the notes carry the extra detail.

What is the base to beat for the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results?

The base to beat is Q2 FY26 profit of Rs 689 crore on revenue from operations of Rs 2,715 crore, against Rs 902 crore and Rs 3,080 crore in Q1 FY27.

Divi’s Laboratories EBITDA Q2 FY27: the flat-quarter sum

Here is the first useful sum. Q1 FY27 revenue from operations of Rs 3,080 crore is +13.4% above Q2 FY26’s Rs 2,715 crore, total income is +9.9% above Rs 2,860 crore, and net profit of Rs 902 crore is +30.9% above Rs 689 crore (my calculations). A flat Q2 would therefore still show strong year-on-year growth, which is why the bar is the Q1 level and not last year’s.

How was the Q2 FY26 base built?

Business Today reported profit before tax of Rs 912 crore against Rs 722 crore a year earlier, with forex gains of Rs 63 crore against Rs 29 crore. First-half FY26 profit after tax was Rs 1,234 crore, up from Rs 940 crore. The shares still fell 3.85% on results day to a low of Rs 6,621.50, which shows a strong quarter does not guarantee a rise.

Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results preview: what to expect

No consensus estimate was found for Q2 FY27. The preview rests on the base figures and on the size of the Q1 FY27 jump.

Consensus Q2 estimate None found Not applicable Do not read Q1 as a forecast

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Divi’s Laboratories Q2 FY27 Q1 Marks, as of 1 November 2026”.

Last year the company grew from Q1 to Q2: total income rose 13.1% (2,529 to 2,860) and profit rose 26.4% (545 to 689, my calculations). A repeat of that sequential pattern is not guaranteed, because orders and product mix move from quarter to quarter.

Divi’s Laboratories net profit Q2 FY27: what to expect

Q1 FY27 profit before tax was Rs 1,180 crore against Rs 912 crore in Q2 FY26, a gap of Rs 268 crore (my calculation), while the tax rate was about 23.6% (278 divided by 1,180). The Q1 tax rate and the swing from a Rs 63 crore forex gain to a Rs 7 crore loss are the two items that move profit without a change in sales.

How did the shares react to Q1?

Angel One reported the NSE close on 31 July 2026 at Rs 8,056, up 2.82%, the day before the results, and a headline that shares rose over 3% after the numbers. That was a reaction to what the market expected, not a forecast of Q2 FY27, and it says nothing about what the filing will show.

Divi’s Laboratories EBITDA and profit Q2 FY27: scenarios

These Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results scenarios are arithmetic, not forecasts. A flat Q1 profit would be +30.9% on Q2 FY26.

Assumptions: consolidated; Q2 FY26 revenue from operations Rs 2,715 crore; revenue growth of 15%, 20% and 25% is my illustration around the Q1 FY27 growth of 27.8%; EBITDA margins of 38.0%, 40.75% and 43.0% bracket the Q1 figures of 40.75% (Sahi) and about 42.8% (my calculation on revenue from operations).

Revenue growth on Q2 FY26 EBITDA at 38.0% margin EBITDA at 40.75% margin EBITDA at 43.0% margin
+15% (Rs 3,122 crore) Rs 1,186 crore Rs 1,272 crore Rs 1,343 crore
+20% (Rs 3,258 crore) Rs 1,238 crore Rs 1,328 crore Rs 1,401 crore
+25% (Rs 3,394 crore) Rs 1,290 crore Rs 1,383 crore Rs 1,459 crore

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Divi’s Laboratories Q2 FY27 EBITDA Scenarios, as of 1 November 2026”.

Profit scenarios

Net profit growth on Rs 689 crore Net profit Against Q1 FY27 (Rs 902 crore)
+20% Rs 827 crore -8%
+31% Rs 903 crore +0%
+45% Rs 999 crore +11%

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Divi’s Laboratories Q2 FY27 Profit Scenarios, as of 1 November 2026”.

Three worked examples

  • Q1-like profit: profit +31% is Rs 903 crore, about flat on Q1 FY27’s Rs 902 crore (689 times 1.31, my calculation).
  • Revenue +20%: Rs 3,258 crore, and a 40.75% margin gives EBITDA of Rs 1,328 crore (my calculation).
  • Slower profit growth: +20% is Rs 827 crore, which would be -8% on Q1 FY27 even though it is still growth on last year.

The scenarios hold other lines constant. In practice depreciation, tax, other income and the exchange rate sit between EBITDA and profit, and the company has said little about the timing of orders.

Which Divi’s Laboratories figures should you compare?

When you compare the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results with last year, match revenue from operations with revenue from operations, and total income with total income. Figures appear on both bases.

Figure Q2 FY26 Q1 FY27 The trap
Revenue from operations, Rs crore 2,715 (+16%) 3,080 (+27.8%) Excludes other income
Total income, Rs crore 2,860 3,144 (+24.3%) Includes forex and other income
EBITDA margin Not in sources 40.75% (Sahi) Kotak Neo EBITDA gives about 42.0% on total income
EBITDA, Rs crore Not in sources 1,319 (one source) Do not compare with a year-ago figure from another source
Net profit, Rs crore 689 902 Same across sources
Net margin Not in sources About 28.7% on total income; 29.29% on revenue Different denominators

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Divi’s Laboratories Definition-Trap Table, as of 1 November 2026”.

The Q1 FY27 net margin shows the same issue: 902 divided by 3,144 is 28.7% and 902 divided by 3,080 is 29.3% (my calculations). Neither is wrong; they use different denominators. Write down which one a headline uses.

The same care applies to growth rates. Sahi gives Q1 FY27 revenue from operations up 27.8% from Rs 2,410 crore, while Angel One and Kotak Neo give total income up 24.3% from Rs 2,529 crore. An article that mixes Rs 3,144 crore with the 27.8% rate is quoting two different measures, so recompute the rate from the figures if you are unsure which was used.

EBITDA versus profit

EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation. The gap between EBITDA and profit is made of depreciation, finance cost, tax and other income, and forex gains or losses sit inside other income.

The estimate base trap

A growth rate applied to Rs 689 crore and to a different base gives two different profits. Check which line and which quarter an estimate uses before you compare it with the table above.

What do forex and mix need to show?

In the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results the exchange line may matter again: it swung from a Rs 39 crore gain to a Rs 7 crore loss between Q1 FY26 and Q1 FY27, so read operating profit and the forex line separately.

Line Q2 FY26 Q1 FY27 Source
Forex gain or loss, Rs crore 63 gain (29 a year earlier) 7 loss (39 gain a year earlier) Business Today; Angel One
Profit before tax, Rs crore 912 1,180 Business Today; Kotak Neo
Tax, Rs crore Not in sources 278 (about 23.6%) Kotak Neo
Total expenses, Rs crore Not in sources 1,964 (+9.4% YoY) Kotak Neo
Operating segment One: APIs and intermediates One Angel One

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Divi’s Laboratories Forex and Cost Marks, as of 1 November 2026”.

In Q1 FY27, total income rose 24.3% while total expenses rose only 9.4% (my reading of Kotak Neo’s table), which explains the profit before tax rise of 61.0%. Watch whether expenses stay low against income in Q2.

Custom synthesis, the made-to-order part of the business, was credited for the Q2 FY26 EBITDA beat in a PL Capital note, which also expected margins to improve on mix. That is one brokerage view and not a company statement.

Which other results land the same week as Divi’s Laboratories?

Kotak Neo’s weekly list shows Hindalco, Bosch and TTK Prestige on Friday, and Apollo Hospitals, Dabur and BSE on Wednesday.

The list is partial and dates may change. For the format of a results read, see our recent posts on Apollo Hospitals Q2 results, Berger Paints Q2 results and Marico Q2 results. How to read the Divi’s Laboratories filing on NSE or BSE

Open the exchange announcement, find the consolidated statement and compare each line with the base table above, same measure, same basis.

  1. Open the BSE corporate announcements page or the NSE corporate filings page and search for Divi’s Laboratories.
  2. Choose the financial results announcement for the quarter ended 30 September 2026.
  3. Find the consolidated statement first, then the standalone.
  4. Check the unit and whether a column is for the quarter or six months.
  5. Read revenue from operations, other income, total income and profit before tax.
  6. Find the foreign-exchange gain or loss in the notes or other income.
  7. Check the notes for exceptional items.
  8. Compare every figure with the base table.

What it costs: reading a filing is free. If you trade the stock, brokerage, securities transaction tax and other charges apply, so check your broker’s current schedule. Tax angle: dividends and gains follow the current tax rules, so see our guide to capital gains tax on shares or ask a tax adviser. Scam warning: on results day, fake “result alert” groups and sure-shot tips circulate. Nobody can guarantee a gain, and official filings are free.

What is the results-day checklist for Divi’s Laboratories?

  • Confirm the date on the BSE or NSE announcement page.
  • Note the filing time and stamp what you read with it.
  • Open the consolidated statement of the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results before any headline.
  • Compare revenue from operations with Rs 2,715 crore and Rs 3,080 crore.

What are the risks around the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results?

Definition riskRevenue and margin appear on two bases, so mixing them misstates growth.
Date riskThe 7 November date rests on one partial weekly list and may change.
Forex riskA swing from gain to loss moves profit without any change in sales.
High-base riskQ1 FY27 profit rose 65.5%, so Q2 may look slower even if it is strong.
Order-timing riskCustom synthesis orders can be uneven from quarter to quarter.
No consensusNo Q2 profit estimate was found, so there is no market bar to compare with.
Reaction riskThe shares fell 3.85% on last year’s results day despite 35% profit growth.
Information riskSecondary articles disagree on some lines, and I did not open the filing.

How to grade Divi’s Laboratories’s September-quarter numbers: a reading guide

Use the table to grade the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results as a reading aid, not a forecast. The cut-offs are my illustration, built from the Q1 FY27 marks.

Assumptions: Q2 FY26 revenue from operations Rs 2,715 crore and net profit Rs 689 crore; the Q1 FY27 profit of Rs 902 crore is the strong mark.

Mark Stronger In line Weaker
Revenue growth on Q2 FY26 Above 28% 15% to 28% Below 15%
EBITDA margin Above 42% 39% to 42% Below 39%
Profit before tax Above Rs 1,200 crore Rs 1,000 to 1,200 crore Below Rs 1,000 crore
Net profit Above Rs 900 crore Rs 770 to 900 crore Below Rs 770 crore
Forex line Gain Near zero Loss above Rs 20 crore

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Divi’s Laboratories Q2 FY27 Reading Guide, as of 1 November 2026”.

Worked example: suppose revenue from operations is Rs 3,300 crore and net profit Rs 880 crore. Revenue would be up +21.5% (3,300 divided by 2,715), profit up +27.7% on Rs 689 crore and -2.4% on Q1 FY27 (my calculation). Revenue would read stronger and profit in line, with a small sequential dip that is easy to mistake for weakness when year-on-year growth is large.

A strong reading describes the quarter only. It is not a signal to buy, sell or hold, and a weak one is not a signal either. Prices react to many things, including what the market already expected.

The guide to the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results uses consolidated figures throughout. If a headline quotes standalone profit, compare it with the standalone base and say so when you share the number. Mixing the two is a common error on results day, because the company reports both.

What do most people miss on Divi’s Laboratories results day?

  • Two revenue figures circulate. Rs 3,080 and Rs 3,144 crore for the same quarter.
  • The margin is not settled. 40.75% on one source and about 42.0% on another.
  • Forex moves profit. A Rs 63 crore gain last September against a loss in Q1.
  • Q1 is the real bar. A flat Q1 already shows +30.9% on last September.
  • Last year’s reaction was negative. The shares fell on good numbers.
  • The date is unconfirmed. Verify the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results date before you plan around it.

Analyst’s note: how to think about this quarter

  • What stands out (reasoning): the Q1 FY27 jump in profit before tax of 61% on income growth of 24% shows costs grew far slower than sales; whether that holds is the test.
  • Easy to miss: a sequential dip from Rs 902 crore can sit beside strong year-on-year growth.
  • What would change the view: profit before tax below Rs 1,000 crore, or a forex loss above Rs 20 crore.
  • Caution: one quarter does not fix a long-term value. This page gives no target or recommendation.
  • Reader action: read the same-basis figures first and match each to the base table.

Bottom line

Known: Divi’s Laboratories is listed for 7 November 2026; the base is Rs 689 crore profit and Rs 2,715 crore revenue from operations, and Q1 FY27 jumped to Rs 902 crore.

Not known yet: the confirmed date, the filing time, the actual figures and any consensus estimate.

Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results: frequently asked questions

When are the Divi’s Laboratories Q2 results?

Divi’s Laboratories is listed to report on Saturday, 7 November 2026 in Kotak Neo’s weekly list posted on 30 October, which says dates follow announced board meetings and may change. That is a single, partial-list source, so confirm on the BSE or NSE page. The filing time is not announced.

What was Divi’s profit in Q2 FY26?

Business Today reported consolidated net profit of Rs 689 crore, up 35% from Rs 510 crore, on revenue from operations of Rs 2,715 crore (up 16%) and total income of Rs 2,860 crore. Profit before tax was Rs 912 crore, which included forex gains of Rs 63 crore.

What did Divi’s Laboratories report in Q1 FY27?

For the June 2026 quarter, Kotak Neo and Angel One reported net profit of Rs 902 crore, up 65.5% from Rs 545 crore and up 20.1% on the March quarter, on total income of Rs 3,144 crore (up 24.3%). Sahi gives revenue from operations of Rs 3,080 crore, up 27.8%.

Why do Divi’s margin figures differ?

Sahi gives a Q1 FY27 EBITDA margin of 40.75%. Kotak Neo’s FAQ gives EBITDA of Rs 1,319 crore, which is about 42.0% of total income or 42.8% of revenue from operations (my calculations). The bases differ, so check the denominator before you compare.

Why is revenue given as 3,080 and 3,144 crore?

Rs 3,080 crore is revenue from operations and Rs 3,144 crore is total income, which adds other income such as forex and interest. Growth is 27.8% on the first and 24.3% on the second. Compare like with like against Q2 FY26’s Rs 2,715 crore and Rs 2,860 crore.

Why is the Divi’s Q2 FY26 profit base strong?

Profit grew 35% and included forex gains of Rs 63 crore, according to Business Today. Q1 FY27 had a forex loss of Rs 7 crore, so part of the swing between the two quarters comes from the exchange line and not from operations.

Did the shares fall after the Q2 FY26 results?

Yes. Business Today reported the stock fell 3.85% to a low of Rs 6,621.50 on the BSE on results day, 7 November 2025, despite 35% profit growth. After Q1 FY27 the shares closed at Rs 8,056 on 31 July 2026, before the release, per Angel One.

Do analysts have a Divi’s Q2 profit estimate?

No consensus estimate for Q2 FY27 was found for this page. Treat any estimate you see as one house’s view, and check whether it uses total income or revenue from operations before comparing it with the table.

Where can I read the Divi’s filing?

Use the BSE corporate announcements page or the NSE corporate filings page and search for Divi’s Laboratories. Open the financial results PDF. Ignore forwarded “result alert” images and messages promising sure-shot calls.

By when must Divi’s Laboratories publish its Q2 results?

SEBI’s listing regulations give listed companies 45 days after quarter-end for quarterly results. For the quarter ended 30 September 2026 that is 14 November 2026 (my calculation). Last year the company reported on 7 November 2025.
