Titan reports its September-quarter numbers on 5 November 2026. Here are the date, the base to beat with its one-off gain, the jewellery and margin marks, and the figures to read first.

Updated: Friday, 30 October 2026, 4:05 PM IST  |  Reading time: 21 min  |  Next update: Thursday, 5 November 2026, after the exchange filing

Quick answer

Titan Q2 results are due on Thursday, 5 November 2026. The base to beat is Rs 1,120 crore consolidated profit in Q2 FY26 and Rs 1,777 crore in Q1 FY27, which included a Rs 407 crore customs-duty gain. Titan’s 6 October update showed consumer businesses up 25%.

Latest update (Friday, 30 October 2026, 4:05 PM IST): The results are not out. Two reports of the company’s intimation give 5 November for the board meeting; the filing time is not announced. This page becomes the live analysis after the filing.

Earlier entries:

  • Wednesday, 21 October 2026, 9:52 AM IST: Kotak Neo published the 5 November results date.
  • Tuesday, 6 October 2026: Titan released its provisional Q2 FY27 business update, as carried by Kotak Neo and Upstox.

Key takeaways

  • Date: board meeting on Thursday, 5 November 2026, as per the company’s intimation.
  • Base to beat: Q2 FY26 consolidated profit of Rs 1,120 crore on revenue of Rs 18,837 crore.
  • One-off in Q1: Rs 1,777 crore profit included a Rs 407 crore customs-duty gain; without it, about Rs 1,472 crore (my calculation).
  • Business update: consumer businesses +25%, jewellery +21%, watches +30% in Q2 FY27, with no profit given.
  • Estimates: no Titan profit estimate found; only jewellery growth views from CLSA and JPMorgan.

In plain words: A results preview is a checklist made before the numbers arrive. For a jewellery and watch maker it means four marks: revenue, profit, margin and the one-off items. Knowing last year’s marks lets you judge the new figures in minutes.

Data note: Figures are as of Friday, 30 October 2026, 4:05 PM IST. The results date comes from two secondary reports of the company’s intimation; the filing itself was not opened for this page. Base figures are company results as reported by Upstox, Multibagg, Angel One and Kotak Neo. Estimates cover jewellery growth only. Derived numbers are my calculation.

When are the Titan Q2 results?

The Titan Q2 results date is Thursday, 5 November 2026. The board meets to approve unaudited results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2026.

Kotak Neo, updated at 9:52 AM IST on 21 October 2026, says Titan will announce its Q2 FY27 results on 5 November. A TradingView news item datelined 20 October quotes the company’s intimation under Regulation 29(1)(a) of the SEBI listing rules, which says a meeting “is scheduled on Thursday, 5th November 2026”. The two reports agree, but neither gives a filing reference, so confirm the date on the BSE or NSE announcement page.

The filing time is not announced. Last year Upstox carried the Q2 FY26 numbers on Monday, 3 November 2025, so a release in the evening or afternoon of the meeting day is possible. It is not confirmed for this year.

Mon, 3 Nov 2025Q2 FY26 resultsThe base quarter: profit Rs 1,120 crore, up 59%.
Fri, 7 Aug 2026Q1 FY27 resultsProfit Rs 1,777 crore with a customs-duty gain inside.
Tue, 6 Oct 2026Q2 FY27 business updateConsumer businesses up 25%, no profit figure.
Thu, 5 Nov 2026Q2 FY27 board meetingResults for the September quarter and half-year.

What will the board approve?

The board will consider the unaudited results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2026. Titan files standalone and consolidated statements, and headlines usually quote the consolidated profit. SEBI’s listing regulations give 45 days after quarter-end, which is 14 November 2026 for this quarter (my calculation), so 5 November is well inside the limit.

What is the base to beat for Titan’s September quarter?

The base to beat is Q2 FY26 consolidated net profit of Rs 1,120 crore on revenue from operations of Rs 18,837 crore, and last quarter’s Rs 1,777 crore, which included a Rs 407 crore customs-duty gain.

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Titan Base-to-Beat Table, as of 30 October 2026”.

Here is the first useful sum. Q1 FY27 profit of Rs 1,777 crore is already +58.7% above Q2 FY26’s Rs 1,120 crore (1,777 divided by 1,120, my calculation). A flat quarter would therefore show growth of about 59%, but Q1 held a one-off gain. Q1 FY26 profit was Rs 1,091 crore, so the June quarter grew 63% on the year.

How big is the one-off in the Q1 FY27 profit?

Angel One reported a one-time gain of Rs 407 crore, which it attributes to higher customs duty on gold and says is included in reported earnings. Excluding it, profit before tax grew 37%. The sources do not say whether Rs 407 crore is before or after tax. The table shows a rough profit without the gain; the 25.17% tax rate is my assumption, not Titan’s disclosed treatment.

Version of Q1 FY27 profit Profit, Rs crore Vs Q2 FY26 (Rs 1,120 crore) Vs Q1 FY26 (Rs 1,091 crore)
As reported 1,777 +58.7% +62.9%
Gain removed after an assumed 25.17% tax (illustration) 1,472 +31.5% +35.0%

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Titan Q1 FY27 One-Off Illustration, as of 30 October 2026”.

Do not treat the second row as Titan’s adjusted profit. Other items are not removed, and the filing notes carry the exact effect. The point is size: roughly a sixth of Q1 profit came from one line, so reported growth for Q2 FY27 will not look like Q1’s 63%.

What do profit margins show?

Profit as a share of revenue from operations was 5.95% in Q2 FY26 and 8.55% in Q1 FY27 (1,120 divided by 18,837 and 1,777 divided by 20,787, my calculation). With the gain removed under the assumption above, Q1 would be about 7.08%. That gap, between about 6% and 8.5%, is the main reason profit scenarios are wide.

Titan Q2 results preview: what do analysts expect?

No Titan profit estimate for Q2 FY27 was found for this page. After the 6 October update, CLSA cited a 19.3% jewellery consensus and JPMorgan had expected 25%, and a foreign brokerage kept a Buy rating with a target of Rs 5,425.

Titan jewellery growth Q2 FY27: what did the update show?

Titan said its consumer businesses grew 25% in the quarter ended 30 September 2026, with domestic up 22% and international up 97%. Jewellery rose 21%, with plain gold jewellery up about 20% and studded jewellery up in the early thirties. Gold coins fell in high single digits. A 21% rise on Q2 FY26 jewellery revenue of Rs 14,092 crore would be about Rs 17,051 crore, below Q1 FY27’s Rs 18,253 crore (my calculation, mixing a domestic growth rate with a total base).

What do buyers and ticket sizes say?

JPMorgan said demand was strong in July and August but slowed in September as festive demand shifted during the quarter. Buyer growth was in the mid-single digits, while average ticket sizes grew at a double-digit rate. The article did not mention gold prices as a cause. Titan’s stock fell 4.4% to Rs 4,350 in early trade on 7 October 2026, the biggest loser on the Nifty 50 that morning, as reported by Kotak Neo.

Other lines grew faster: CaratLane 32%, watches 30% and EyeCare 28%. Titan added 78 net stores, taking the total to 3,758 at the end of September 2026. The figures are provisional and subject to a limited review by the statutory auditors, so the filing can differ.

Titan net profit Q2 FY27: what could it look like?

These are arithmetic scenarios, not forecasts. A flat Q1 profit of Rs 1,777 crore would be +58.7% on Q2 FY26, but with the gain removed it would be +31.5% (my calculation).

Assumptions: consolidated; Q2 FY26 revenue from operations Rs 18,837 crore and profit Rs 1,120 crore; revenue growth of 20%, 25% and 30% is my illustration around the 25% consumer-business update, which is not consolidated revenue; profit margins of 5.95% (Q2 FY26), 7.0% (near Q1 without the gain) and 8.55% (Q1 as reported).

Revenue growth on Q2 FY26 Profit at 5.95% margin Profit at 7.0% margin Profit at 8.55% margin
+20% (Rs 22,604 crore) Rs 1,345 crore (+20.1%) Rs 1,582 crore (+41.3%) Rs 1,933 crore (+72.6%)
+25% (Rs 23,546 crore) Rs 1,401 crore (+25.1%) Rs 1,648 crore (+47.2%) Rs 2,013 crore (+79.8%)
+30% (Rs 24,488 crore) Rs 1,457 crore (+30.1%) Rs 1,714 crore (+53.1%) Rs 2,094 crore (+86.9%)

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Titan Q2 FY27 Profit Scenarios, as of 30 October 2026”.

Three worked examples

  • Revenue +25%: 18,837 times 1.25 is Rs 23,546 crore. At a 7.0% profit margin that is Rs 1,648 crore, which is +47.2% on Rs 1,120 crore.
  • Margin back to Q2 FY26 level: at 5.95% on the same revenue, profit would be about Rs 1,401 crore, or +25.1%. Revenue growth alone does not produce profit growth.
  • Beat the Q1 base: profit above Rs 1,777 crore at Rs 23,546 crore revenue needs a margin above 7.55% (1,777 divided by 23,546, my calculation).

The scenarios hold other lines constant. In practice gold-price moves, hedging, product mix, the festive shift and tax all change the margin. A foreign brokerage note warned of an optical moderation in revenue growth from Q3 if gold prices stay flat, which is outside this quarter but shapes how the filing is read.

Which Titan profit and revenue figure should you compare?

Compare consolidated profit with consolidated profit and revenue from operations with revenue from operations. Titan figures that look alike differ by hundreds of crore.

Figure Q2 FY26 Q1 FY27 The trap
Consolidated net profit, Rs crore 1,120 1,777 The usual headline
Standalone net profit, Rs crore Not in sources About 1,700 (search headline, page not opened) Different basis; confirm in the filing
Revenue from operations, Rs crore 18,837 20,787 The reported revenue line
Total income, Rs crore Quoted as 18,837 by one source 20,753 (Kotak Neo) or 21,356 (TradingView) Sources conflict; do not mix with revenue from operations
Jewellery revenue excluding bullion, Rs crore 14,092 18,253 Excludes bullion and digital gold sales
Jewellery EBIT margin Not in sources 12.9% reported; 11.6% excluding one-offs One source; confirm in the filing

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Titan Definition-Trap Table, as of 30 October 2026”.

Q1 FY27 revenue appears as Rs 20,787 crore up 40.3% (Angel One), Rs 20,753 crore total income (Kotak Neo) and Rs 21,356 crore up 29% (TradingView). Angel One’s figure divides cleanly: 20,787 over 14,814 is 1.403 (my calculation). The 29% item does not match that base, so this page uses Rs 20,787 crore and flags the rest.

Operating versus total revenue

Revenue from operations is sales of goods and services. Total income adds other income such as interest and investment gains. A margin quoted on one base cannot be compared with a margin on the other.

The estimate base trap

A jewellery growth estimate such as 19.3% or 25% covers one segment and one growth measure. It says nothing about consolidated profit, which also carries watches, EyeCare, CaratLane and the one-off line. Ask which segment any estimate covers before you compare it with the table above.

What do Titan’s jewellery growth and margin need to show?

Jewellery is the large line, at Rs 18,253 crore in Q1 FY27 against Rs 14,092 crore in Q2 FY26. The Q2 question is whether growth near 21% turns into profit once the one-off gain is gone.

Jewellery revenue growth +21% +43% +21% in the 6 Oct update (domestic)
Consumer businesses growth Not in sources About +41% (askfuzz headline) +25% (domestic 22%, international 97%)

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Titan Growth Marks, as of 30 October 2026”.

Jewellery growth slowed from 43% in Q1 to 21% in the update. Part of that is base: Q2 FY26 was already up 21% on a high gold price. Part is festive timing, which JPMorgan linked to the September slowdown. Neither source gives a margin for Q2, so read the segment EBIT margin from the filing.

The Q1 FY27 jewellery EBIT margin was reported at 12.9% on EBIT of Rs 2,360 crore, and at 11.6% excluding one-offs, according to Kotak Neo. This post treats the 11.6% as the cleaner mark. The Q2 FY26 segment margin was not found in the sources opened.

Which other results land around the Titan Q2 results?

The results season continues through November, with large companies reporting on different days.

For the format of a results read, see our recent posts on SBI Q2 results and Jio Platforms Q2 results. They cover a bank and a telecom platform, so the numbers are not comparable with a jewellery maker; only the method carries over. The Q2 results calendar lists the companies that have reported.

How to read the Titan filing on NSE or BSE

Open the exchange announcement, find the consolidated statement and compare each line with the base table above, same measure, same basis.

  1. Open the BSE corporate announcements page or the NSE corporate filings page and search for Titan Company.
  2. Choose the financial results announcement for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2026.
  3. Find the consolidated statement first, then the standalone one.
  4. Check the unit; Titan reports in Rs crore in its releases, but some filings use Rs lakh.
  5. Read revenue from operations, other income, EBITDA and net profit.
  6. Open the notes for exceptional items and any gain on gold.
  7. Check the segment table for jewellery revenue and EBIT.
  8. Compare every figure with the base table.

What it costs: reading a filing is free. If you trade the stock, brokerage, securities transaction tax and other charges apply, so check your broker’s current schedule. Tax angle: dividends and gains follow the current tax rules, so see our guide to capital gains tax on shares or ask a tax adviser. Scam warning: on results day, fake “result alert” groups and sure-shot tips circulate. Nobody can guarantee a gain, and official filings are free.

What is the results-day checklist for Titan?

  • Confirm the board meeting date on the BSE or NSE announcement page.
  • Note the filing time and stamp what you read with it.
  • Open the consolidated statement before any headline.
  • Compare net profit with Rs 1,120 crore and Rs 1,777 crore.
  • Check the notes for the customs-duty gain and any new one-off.
  • Compare revenue from operations with Rs 18,837 crore.
  • Read the jewellery EBIT margin against 11.6% and 12.9%.
  • Check that growth matches the 6 October update.
  • Write your own plan before the price moves.

What are the risks around the Titan Q2 results?

Base-effect riskQ1 profit held a Rs 407 crore gain. Reported growth can mislead in either direction.
Definition riskConsolidated and standalone profit and revenue from operations and total income are easily mixed up.
Gold price riskGold moves change revenue, margin and any inventory gain. A brokerage note says the high-price benefit may fade.
Festive timing riskJPMorgan said festive demand shifted during the quarter, which can move sales between quarters.
No profit estimateOnly jewellery growth views were found. A growth view is not a profit forecast.
Margin riskJewellery EBIT margin was 12.9% in Q1 with the gain and 11.6% without. A reading near the lower mark would be a normal quarter.
Provisional-data riskThe 6 October update is subject to a limited review, so final growth can differ.
Information riskThe Q1 FY27 revenue line differs across sources, and the segment margin comes from one article.

How to grade Titan’s September-quarter numbers: a reading guide

Use the table as a reading aid, not a forecast. The cut-offs are my illustration, built from the base figures and the update above.

Assumptions: Q2 FY26 revenue Rs 18,837 crore and profit Rs 1,120 crore; 20% and 25% revenue growth as cut-offs; profit margins of 5.95% and 7.0%; jewellery EBIT margin cut-offs of 11.6% and 10.6%.

Mark Stronger In line Weaker
Revenue from operations Above Rs 23,546 crore (+25%) Rs 22,604 to 23,546 crore Below Rs 22,604 crore (+20%)
Consolidated net profit Above Rs 1,648 crore Rs 1,401 to 1,648 crore Below Rs 1,401 crore
Jewellery EBIT margin 11.6% or higher 10.6% to 11.5% Below 10.6%
One-off gains in profit None or small Disclosed and separated Large and not separated
Segment growth Jewellery 21% or higher, as in the update Within 2 points of the update Jewellery below 19%

Cite this table: PositionalCalls, “Titan Q2 FY27 Reading Guide, as of 30 October 2026”.

Worked example: suppose revenue is Rs 23,000 crore, profit Rs 1,500 crore and the jewellery EBIT margin 11.2%. Revenue would be up 22.1% on Q2 FY26 (23,000 divided by 18,837), profit up 33.9% (1,500 divided by 1,120) and the margin in line. Profit growth is above revenue growth, so margins rose on the year. Read it with the notes on one-off items.

A strong reading describes the quarter only. It is not a signal to buy, sell or hold, and a weak one is not a signal either. Prices react to many things, including what the market already expected.

What do most people miss on Titan results day?

  • The Q1 base has a one-off. Rs 407 crore from customs duty on gold sits inside Rs 1,777 crore.
  • The update had no profit. It only gave growth rates, and they are provisional.
  • Growth is not profit. At 25% revenue growth, profit can rise 25% or 80% depending on margin.
  • Jewellery growth is domestic. The 21% figure is not total consolidated revenue growth.
  • Estimates cover one segment. CLSA and JPMorgan spoke about jewellery growth only.
  • Revenue lines differ. Operations, total income and segment revenue are three different numbers.
  • The filing time is unknown. Avoid acting on an unconfirmed screenshot.

Analyst’s note: how to think about this quarter

  • What stands out (reasoning): a quarter of 25% consumer growth meets a base that held a gain, so profit optics and trend will differ.
  • Easy to miss: the jewellery EBIT margin without one-offs is the cleaner read than headline profit.
  • What would change the view: a jewellery EBIT margin well below 10.6%, or a large new one-off.
  • Caution: one quarter does not fix a long-term value. This page gives no target or recommendation.
  • Reader action: read consolidated figures first and match each to the base table.

Bottom line

Known: the board meets on 5 November 2026; the base is Rs 1,120 crore profit, and Q1 FY27 was Rs 1,777 crore with a Rs 407 crore one-off. Consumer businesses grew 25% in Q2.

Not known yet: the filing time, the actual figures and any Titan profit estimate.

Titan Q2 results: frequently asked questions

When are the Titan Q2 results?

The Titan Q2 results are due on Thursday, 5 November 2026. The board meets to approve unaudited results for the quarter and half-year ended 30 September 2026, as per the company’s intimation under SEBI listing rules. The filing time is not announced; confirm on the BSE or NSE announcement page.

What was Titan net profit in Q2 FY26?

Titan reported consolidated net profit of Rs 1,120 crore in Q2 FY26, up 59% from Rs 704 crore, on revenue from operations of Rs 18,837 crore, as reported by Upstox and Multibagg on 3 November 2025.

What did Titan report in Q1 FY27?

For the June 2026 quarter, Angel One reported consolidated net profit of Rs 1,777 crore (up 63%) on revenue from operations of Rs 20,787 crore (up 40%). The figures included a one-time customs-duty gain of Rs 407 crore.

What did Titan say about Q2 FY27 business so far?

In its provisional update on 6 October 2026, Titan said consumer businesses grew 25% year on year, with jewellery up 21%, watches up 30% and EyeCare up 28%. The figures are subject to a limited review by auditors, and the update gave no profit.

What do analysts expect in the Titan Q2 results preview?

No Titan profit estimate for Q2 FY27 was found for this page. On the business update, CLSA cited a consensus of 19.3% jewellery growth and JPMorgan had expected 25%, as reported on 7 October 2026.

Why may Titan profit growth look lower in Q2 FY27?

Because the Q1 FY27 profit of Rs 1,777 crore included a Rs 407 crore customs-duty gain. Without it, and with an assumed 25.17% tax rate, Q1 profit would be about Rs 1,472 crore (my calculation). Check the Q2 filing notes for any one-off.

Is Titan profit consolidated or standalone?

Headlines usually carry the consolidated figure, which includes subsidiaries such as CaratLane. A search headline put Q1 FY27 standalone profit near Rs 1,700 crore; that page was not opened for this post. Always match the same basis.

Where can I read the Titan Q2 results filing?

Use the BSE corporate announcements page or the NSE corporate filings page and search for Titan Company. Open the financial results PDF. Ignore forwarded “result alert” images and any message that promises sure-shot calls.

What is the Titan Q2 results gold price effect?

Gold prices lift jewellery revenue per sale. JPMorgan said buyer growth was in the mid-single digits while average ticket sizes grew at a double-digit rate. A foreign brokerage note said the benefit of high gold prices may fade if prices stay flat.

By when must Titan publish its Q2 results?

SEBI’s listing regulations give listed companies 45 days after quarter-end for quarterly results. For the quarter ended 30 September 2026 that is 14 November 2026 (my calculation), so the 5 November meeting is well inside the limit.
